Who is this for
A living room, once a month
Marriage & Family Life is for newly married couples and for young families, and it runs as home groups rather than one large gathering. A handful of couples, in somebody’s house, on the first Sunday of the month.
That is deliberate. The habits a marriage runs on get set in the early years, and they get set better alongside a few other couples who know your names than in a room of a hundred people.

What to expect
What a year of home groups builds
The church is told to rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn. Both take people who already know you. That is most of what a year of the same living room is for.
People to call when it goes well
A promotion, a positive test, the house you finally got. Good news is better said out loud to people who know what it cost you to get there.
People to call in a hard week
The same people, on the week nothing goes right. Names already in your phone before you need them, which is the only time it is easy to get them there.
Your marriage taken seriously
A few couples who know what your marriage is actually like, who want it to last, and who will ask how it is going.
A church that knows your family
Grace Kids has your children on a Sunday and Grace Moms is next door on a Tuesday. This is the group that ties those together for both of you.
