It is encouraging to know that we serve a God who will go before us and make crooked places straight and even level mountains in our life. Jesus tells us not to be anxious or worry about anything. Every night, I rest my head on Mathew 6:27; “Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”
I have had ongoing health issues ranging from osteoarthritis to tooth pain, and have been trusting God for healing. A few weeks ago, I went to see a dentist who advised me that the only solution to my tooth pain was either a transplant or a root canal. Both options were well beyond my means without insurance.
A few days later I met with a sister in Christ who is a close friend and I shared with her briefly about this issue. The conversation ended there, and in my mind and heart, since I have already survived with this pain for over four years, I resolved that this is no big deal, and we parted ways. I didn't think she would share with someone, let alone share with her husband, who on the spot contacted a dentist friend and shared my situation with him.
Our God who goes before us had already seen my pain- He had gone before me and aligned these people whom He knew would help. In just three days I was able to see this dentist, and he was able to do a root canal for me on the same day and graciously did not charge me any fee apart from the consultation. If this is not GOD'S Mighty Hand, then what can it be? We serve a God who is always on time, who provides, who answers prayers, and who goes before us.
I am Boasting in the Lord! Not only because He will supply some of my needs, but ALL of my needs, according to His riches in Glory. I am Boasting in the Lord for His mercy endures forever.
