Boast In The Lord January 30th, 2023

God is my rock who provides
Psalm 78:15-16 says, “He split rocks in the wilderness and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep. He made streams come out of the rock and caused waters to flow down like rivers.”
He supplies my needs. He does this for me many times supernaturally.  Just like He provided for the Israelites in the Old Testament when they were thirsty; water gushed from the rocks for them to be satisfied.  He satisfies my soul as well.

God is my rock who saves
Psalm 62:7  says, “On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God.”
He saved me from my sins and gave me eternal life when I asked Him into my life as a 16 year-old teenager. He lives in my heart, transforming my sinful nature and making me new.

God is my rock who protects
Psalm 94:22 says, “But the Lord has become my stronghold, and my God; the rock of my refuge.”
He safeguards me from evil, danger and harm. He watches over me and hides me in the cleft of the rock. I find refuge in my fortress and stronghold during troubling times!

God is my rock who I can build my life upon
Matthew 7:24-25 says, “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.”
He has been a sure and stable foundation in my life. Even when storms arise, I trust that He will be my God and never fail me. His unchangeable and unmovable character holds me fast.

Prayer:
Thank you God for being the rock. Be to me a rock of refuge, to which I may continually come; you have given the command to save me, for You are my rock and my fortress.”Psalm 71:3
We love and praise You oh God our rock. Amen .
