Missions
Close to home and around the world
Partners near and far, supported by roughly a tenth of everything given at Grace.

Partners near and far, supported by roughly a tenth of everything given at Grace.
Close to home, Grace supports ministries working in New York, New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania: campus ministry, addiction recovery, prison and shelter work, legal advocacy, pregnancy support, and church planting among Bangladeshi Muslims in New York. Closer still, Grace works alongside Bedminster Fire & Rescue, the Bedminster Police Department and the Bedminster Office of Emergency Management.
Further away, Grace supports missionaries and ministries in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The connection is meant to be personal rather than institutional. Each partner shares what they are working on and what they need prayed for, and the point is that somebody here is actually praying it.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations."
Matthew 28:19

The partners Grace supports fall into four kinds of work, some within a day’s drive and some on other continents.

R-HUB in northern New Jersey runs a sober living farm and support groups for people in addiction and their families. Walter Hoving Home takes in women coming out of addiction and crisis. Lions Gate Ministries works in prisons, rehabs and shelters, and First Choice Women’s Resource Center offers free counselling and medical care in unplanned pregnancy.

Shannon Osinski with DiscipleMakers works with students at DeSales, Cedar Crest and Muhlenberg in the Lehigh Valley. The Christian Legal Society trains attorneys and opens access to justice for people who cannot pay for it.

Russell Abraham plants house churches among Bangladeshi Muslims in New York with Global Gates. Sean and Suzy McLain plant a church in Waren, Germany, and Erica Blickens serves in Chicorôa, Mozambique with Africa for Christ.

Jeff and Kate Hoops serve as C&MA field directors. Dr David Schroeder and MasterWorks train disciple-makers through local churches in Africa and Asia, and Zach and Sarah Blickens carry the gospel through music.
Approximately ten percent of everything given at Grace goes to missionaries and missions partners automatically. You do not have to give separately for that to happen.
The ten percent
Roughly 10% of all giving is routed to missions partners without anybody having to designate it. Give here.
The Missions Committee
A small group that looks after how Grace engages with its partners, locally and abroad, and keeps the church informed about them.
Praying for a partner
Each partner shares specific prayer requests. Pick one and stay with them, rather than skimming all of them at once.
Serving starts here
Mission is not only something Grace funds far away. The most direct way to take part is to serve at the church itself. See where help is needed now.
If one of these partners has caught your attention, tell us. We can put you in touch with them, share their latest prayer requests, or pass on a note of encouragement.
Write to us here and someone from the committee will answer.
