Day 34: Evelyn Anderson
“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” II Tim. 2:15
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
In the Matthew passage above, Jesus shared His last (& perhaps most important) words to His disciples before He ascended back into heaven after His resurrection from the dead.
So… How do we faithfully obey His great commission to us today? What if we had a tool to aid us in these mandates that would change the hearts of people for good, in only 20 minutes a day? Would we use it?
This is my Boast in the Lord!
God HAS given us such a tool and made it easy & efficient to use. Mission:119, a Bible study app developed by John Soper (a Christian & Missionary Alliance pastor), is designed to mature the Body of Christ in consistent, daily lessons. One can listen to it while driving, exercising, getting dressed or doing any mundane task. It allows us to readily find the time to mature in Christ to positively impact not only our own lives, but the lives of others as well.
Over the course of 2 years, listening 5 days a week, you will have read through the entire Bible, with scholarly teaching and mentoring along the way. It is not designed to replace your own studying of God’s Word, but it is a great aide and help!
How this app has magnified my joy in the Lord as I see more clearly the depth of God’s Word! I praise God that I am now not only increasing the intake of the Bible in my own life, but appreciating the balanced discipleship, unifying and strengthening content it brings to the Body of Christ.
What really excites me, however, is seeing people receptive to this app from all walks of life. I now have opportunities to not only share about Jesus and His truth, but I can (through this app) place “the Bible” into the hands of anyone interested in investigating God’s truths. I can hardly contain my joy and I can’t wait to see how God uses this for His Kingdom!

How faithful you are, Holy God. Please prepare our hearts & the hearts of others to seek Your face through Your Word as we faithfully pray. You have given us everything we need for godliness & to fulfill the great commission. Hallelujah!!! Nothing is more precious than growing deeper in You & seeing others come to know You & mature in You through Your Word, as well. We love You, Lord, with every fiber of our being. Praise Your Holy Name, Jesus. Amen!
