Are you a mother of a preschooler and looking for a chance to connect with other Moms? If so, you’ve come to the right place! The arrival of your baby in the world was difficult enough. But now it’s gone and turned your world upside down! When did showers become a luxury?! MOPS knows you are experiencing a challenging phase of life when doubt, fear, frustration and exhaustion collide with love, joy, hope and elation. This is a turbulent time for both you and your child. So while you’re pouring yourself into the development of your child, let us pour encouragement, insight and confidence into you!

WHAT IS MOPS?

MOPS is a special place you can go to meet like-minded women also experiencing this unique stage of life. You’ll have a chance to not only make new friends, but discover an abundance of helpful hints and smarter strategies to deal with the wide-ranging challenges of motherhood.

WHAT WILL I DO AT MOPS?

First Tuesday of the month - mother & child events at various locations
Second Tuesday of the month - speaker
Third Tuesday of the month - craft
Fourth Tuesday of the month - speaker

DO I BRING MY CHILDREN?

Yes, the children of MOPS are called MOPPETS and have a program of their very own. Children under two have access to a full-staffed nursery while older children can enjoy an interactive Bible story followed by a craft, snack and play time. Our MOPPETS volunteers are some of the most caring and dedicated individuals you’ll meet.

If, however, your children are currently enrolled in a local nursery school, we would love to have you join us while they spend time at their preschool. Our MOPS group meets every Tuesday morning from Mid September through May from 9:30AM-11:00AM in the fellowship room of Grace Fellowship Chapel.

DOES IT COST ANYTHING?

Yes, there is a yearly MOPS to Mom Connection membership which is $20.00 and due along with your MOPS registration form. With this membership you’ll receive: a magazine subscription to MOMSense Magazine (a bi-monthly issue packed with practical parenting tips and inspirational ideas), weekly Mom E-Mails (weekly bursts of encouragement) as well as a MOPS International Calendar. During the MOPS year we have special craft days as well as group outings. Nominal fees for these activities are charged in addition to your membership fee.

MOPS PURPOSE STATEMENT

MOPS International exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.

MOPS MEETINGS

If you are a mother of a child in the early years of life (birth through kindergarten) or currently expecting, our doors are wide open to you! MOPS understands the challenges and joys you face in these years of your life and offers it’s support for your journey because … mothering does matter!
