Dr. David Schroeder / Pastor

Church, missions and Christian higher education have been the arenas of Dr. Schroeder’s ministry since the mid 70’s. In August of 2007, he was appointed to be president of Somerset Christian College.

A graduate of Nyack College, Manhattanville College, New York Theological Seminary and New York University (as well as a dropout of three other institutions), Pastor Schroeder served churches in New York, New Jersey and New England. On the missional front, he has served overseas and at home with the Christian and Missionary Alliance, Trans World Radio and International Teams, and continues preaching ministries in Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe.

In Christ-centered higher education, David’s, first passion, he has been president of Reformed Episcopal Seminary, Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary, and Somerset Christian College. During his twelve years at Nyack, the college and seminary grew from 700 to 3100 students, expanded to six extension sites and developed ten new graduate programs. But more importantly, thousands of students were trained to be “worshipping warriors.”

Through a ministry he began in 1986 known as MasterWorks, David is a frequent speaker at retreats and seminars for men, using some of the ten books he has written. Betzi and David have been married for forty-two years, have raised three children and are spoiling five (so far) grandchildren.

Serving Grace Fellowship Chapel seems like coming full circle to David and Betzi who taught an adult class at Long Hill Chapel in Chatham, NJ, in the mid 80’s. That class was the foundation to planting GFC. Pastoring at Grace and presiding at Somerset provide Dr. Schroeder with the ministry balance that invigorates him most.

Caroline Parker/ Worship Leader
Worship Leader Caroline Parker

Caroline is passionate about her love for God and music. Being a Worship Leader allows her to combine these loves to bring glory to God and to point others to Jesus during their worship experience. Even as a young child, Caroline remembers telling a friend that when she grew up, all she wanted to do was to sing songs about Jesus to lots and lots of people.

Since graduating from the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music in Wheaton, IL, Caroline’s musical experiences have led her from leading Worship, singing and playing with a Folk/Gospel band, recording and producing CD projects, to teaching piano and voice lessons, accompanying vocal and instrumental recitals, and writing music in various styles.

Along with her passion for God and music, Caroline is deeply passionate about her wonderful husband, Whitney and daughters, Leslie and Abby.
